I’ve been tattooing for more than 30 years and I’m still in love with it. The ritual of marking our bodies is as old as humanity, and it still invokes a deeper connection within. The tattooing process aligns with my own passion for delving into the depths of human consciousness. I enjoy the time I spend with my clients chatting about the esoteric mysteries of life.
My primary focus is large-scale Japanese work. I also enjoy illustrative, neo-traditional and straightforward traditional tattooing. I am proficient at fineline, lettering, flowers, animals, and many other things. So long as they make good tattoos on good people, I’m down. I prefer to work in color, but I am adept at black and gray as well. I’ll also work on cutesy or small tattoos, as I find them to be a nice intermission between larger work.
I work in a flow state, which often leads to ideas that come to us in the process of making the tattoo. I will communicate these ideas and work with you in an open creative process, which evolves as we spend more time together. I do this to play to my strengths, which necessitates my clients being open to my own interpretation of their ideas. I want your tattoo to be the quality that I would expect for myself. So, if you are someone who needs to control every step of your process, I am probably not the best fit for you. I look forward to co-creating your tattoo with you.
